Four elegant steps turn a vote into immutable record — without ever asking the user to pay gas.

Powered by EIP-2771 meta-transactions

BaoDAO uses a battle-tested pattern that separates message signing from gas payment. The result is a governance system that's accessible to anyone — regardless of whether they hold ETH.

  • Trusted forwarder contract validates signatures on-chain
  • User signs EIP-712 typed-data message locally
  • Relayer wraps signature and submits transaction, paying gas
  • Forward contract recovers signer via ecrecover
  • Original sender context is preserved across all calls
